Refurbishment Levels
Amazon Leisure offers refurbished fitness equipment and accessories from leading manufacturers. We also regularly restore customers’ own equipment as part of their gym upgrades. Amazon’s three levels of refurbishment give you the choice to reflect your desired quality and to meet a range of budgets.

LEVEL 1: FULL REFURBISHMENT
Our 8-step process that each piece of equipment goes through:
- A full assessment of the machine is carried out, identifying all requirements.
- Fully dismantle each piece of equipment and thoroughly clean.
- Prepare the metal work prior to painting and apply rust treatment where required.
- Fully prime each machine before applying the base coat and top coat.
- Bake each individual layer throughout the paint process.
- Rebuild the machine, replacing all broken and worn parts as required.
- The rebuilt machine is extensively tested before releasing to be QA passed.
- Full QA and PAT test if applicable – all machines pass through QA ensuring our high standards of quality are maintained.
Fully refurbished Equipment comes with a 3 months parts and labour warranty.
LEVEL 2: ECONOMY REFURBISHMENT
Our 8-step process that each piece of equipment goes through:
- An assessment of the machine is carried out.
- The equipment is then cleaned and tested going through a full range of mechanical and electronic functions.
- Torn pads will be replaced with like for like pads, new colours can be requested for an additional charge.
- Paintwork, shrouds and covers may have small cracks or blemishes.
- Small amounts of visible rust may be present.
- Minor squeaks and noises may be present but these will not affect the machine’s function.
- All equipment will be complete and in full working order.
- Full QA and PAT test if applicable – all machines pass through QA ensuring our high standards of quality are maintained.
Economy refurbishment has no warranty.
LEVEL 3: TRADE OR AS IS
- This is only for registered trade customers.
- Goods are sold “as is” from the warehouse, no requirement to be complete or working.
- Should only be sold to customers who can undertake the repairs.
- The sales team should advise the customer if substantial elements are missing prior to sale.
